JAKARTA - Peneliti politik Lembaga Ilmu Pengetahuan Indonesia (LIPI) Siti Zuhro menyambut baik perang blusukan antara calon presiden nomor urut 01 Joko Widodo dengan calon wakil presiden nomor urut 02 Sandiaga Uno.

Blusukan ke pasar tradisional yang dilakukan kedua kontestan Pilpres 2019 itu dilakukan dalam rangka mengkonfirmasi harga bahan pokok di tingkat masyarakat.

"Menurut saya bagus untuk mengkonfirmasi seberapa mahal harga bahan makanan pokok di pasar. Oh, di sini mahal, di sana tidak," kata Siti di Hotel Mercure, Jakarta Barat, Kamis (1/11/2018).

Siti menilai, langkah para kontestan Pilpres 2019 blusukan ke masyarakat penting dilakukan. Hal itu untuk mendengar langsung aspirasi di tingkat akar rumput.

Namun demikian, Siti mengingatkan agar kontestasi dan hasil blusukan disampaikan dengan gamblang dan menghindari sarkastis. Siti mengatakan, sarkastis berpotensi memancing kemarahan para pendukung dari tiap kubu kontestan Pilpres. 

"Dalam kondisi kita seperti saat ini, sebaiknya tutur kata para kompetitor ini dijaga. Kita dalam kondisi dahan kering, mudah terbakar, jadi jangan coba-coba. (Blusukan-red) ini adalah cara yang rasional dan konstitusional dalam kontestasi," ucap Siti. 

Sebelumnya, calon wakil presiden nomor urut 02 Sandiaga Uno menyinggung mahalnya harga bahan pokok di pasar-pasar tradisional. Sandi bahkan menyindir kini tempe di pasar-pasar setipis kartu ATM.
