Palingseru.com – Secara mengejutkan, posisi Menteri Koordinator Kemaritiman yang dipegangi Luhut Panjaitan telah digantikan oleh seorang sisiwi SMP yang baru berusia 15 tahun.
Dia adalah Maria Lengari atau akrab disapa Osin.
Osin resmi menjadi Menko Bidang Kemaritiman pada hari Kamis, 11 Okober 2018 lalu.

Hal ini tentu menjadi kabar yang mengejutkan. Tapi tunggu dulu, hal itu jelas saja bukan sungguhan. Ya, Osin dapat menggantikan Luhut Panjaitan karena telah menenangi sebuah kompetisi kepemimpinan yang diadakan Yayasan Plan International Indonesia (YPII), mengutip Merdeka.com.
Kompetisi itu diadakan untuk memperingati Hari Anak Perempuan Sedunia yang diperingati setiap tanggal 11 Oktober.
Kebetulan, Osin lah yang berhasil memenangkan kompetisi tersebut, dan diberi kesempatan untuk menjadi Menko Bidang Kemaritiman selama sehari.
Sekretaris Bidang Kemenko Bidang Kemaritiman, Agus Purwoto pun menjelaskan mengenai alasannya.
“Saya ingin agar anak kita dapat memiliki pengalaman memimpin seperti yang Pak Menko lakukan sehari-hari, serta dapat mengetahui apa saja yang telah dilakukan oleh pemerintah khususnya untuk membangun sektor kemaritiman,” terangnya di Kantor Kemanko Bidang Kemaritiman.
Sementara itu, Osin yang mendapat peran sebagai Menko mengaku merasa sangat senang dan tidak menyangka akan merasakan posisi sebaga pejabat negara yang berpengaruh terhadap banyak orang.
“Saya sangat senang dan bangga hari ini bisa belajar dan mendapatkan pengalaman baru sebagai Menko Maritim,” tuturnya.
Peran spesial itu pun ia manfaatkan dengan sebaik mungkin untuk menyampaikan keluh kesah yang selama ini dialami perempuan dan anak anak perempuan.
Osin berharap kementrian perhubungan bisa mendorong transportasi yang nyaman.
“Selama ini mereka naik truk, angkot atau perahu yang sudah usang bahkan jalan kaki,” ujarnya.
Ia juga meminta tidak ada lagi anak-anak yang bekerja, dan terlibat dalam kegiatan berisiko. Selain itu, Osin juga memberikan masukan mengenai perikanan di wilayahnya.
“Di Lembata ikan sangat berlimpah, tapi nelayan suka membuang ikan yang tidak terjual. Karena tidak tahu cara menyimpan, tidak ada pengolahan jadi dibeli murah,” keluhnya.
Padahal, menurutnya, sektor perikanan dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Terlebih lagi, Lembata memiliki potensi wisata budaya tangkap paus.
